Storm World: Hurricanes, Politics, and the Battle Over Global Warming – Review
I have been currently using Parsons (1995) as involved only reading in my currently teaching since its introduction. This is the book I require after students have widely read the Gore crises book from the last decade. My course is Environmental Science with a strong emphasis on Critical Thinking. Scientists believe differently, some would say objectively, about the usually lay literature because science involves evidence for its conclusions. Parsons offers the evidence and a sad example of scientific critical mistakenly thinking about a public issue which eschews the evidence known to science.
