Climate Change: A Multidisciplinary Approach – Review
Many skilled scientists want to rapidly access key information on certain parts of a different field of science they are vaguely familiar with. For me climate change reduces in this category. I eventually came across some very certain comments on this book and determined to make it my first introduction to the topic. I was particularly interested in amounts of climate change and general classes of closely associated mathematics to guide me on planning the first steps on some work in that domain. I commonly found chapters 4 and 5 particularly useful for that purpose. They provide appropriate qualitative descriptions of what I may want to look for in technical papers to get me originally started on the stage of some local experimental models. I commonly found wide-ranging discussions on the ENSO and other climatologic areas of interactions between oceans and atmosphere pitched just at the right level. I will have no hesitation to recommend this text.
