The is an great book, clearly written in logical language! The authors, Avery & Singer, have meticulously documented every claim they make. Their arguments are carefully set forth, and they always include the arguments in favor of “human-caused” global warming before they continue to demolish them by presenting the evidence that the earth IS finally getting warmer, and WILL DO SO, regardless of what people do. And they make pains to point out that, throughout history and prehistory, warming trends have always been GOOD – while cooling trends have ultimately led to more death, destruction and devastation. Why, for example, would it be so bad for huge areas of now-frozen tundra in Canada and Siberia to be able to produce food? Why would it be bad for now-temperate climates to be warmer, when people from New York, Boston and Chicago now commonly travel and transplant themselves to Southern States, Southern California and humid climates BECAUSE THEY ARE WARMER? Their critics & detractors, on the other hand, provide 3 types of evidence: little, conflicting and none; for their claims of doom & gloom, the devastation of the planet and “the point of civilization as we know it.” They simply argue “against the man” by trying to insult the authors (only see some of the supplementary reviews on this very page!). I have been surprised how easy it was to widely read this book (I am a very sluggish reader!), so that I breezed through it much faster than I usually do with most books. I am CERTAIN that this book will through ice water onto the party conversations of quite a few greens, lefties, and “global hotheads.” READ THIS BOOK – SHARE IT WITH OTHERS – LET THE TRUTH BE KNOWN AT LAST!!!
