Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats, Fraud, and Deception to Keep You Misinformed – Review
I am truly astounded by the information in this book. It is not written as one long opinion on the piece of Christopher Horner. Rather, it is something like forty per cents to fifty per cents quotations, showing–in the words of those about whom he is talking–what is being reportedly said by activists, politicians and scientists (in many cases “scientists” would be more appropriate…) in the part of climate. (And if you think Horner is simply lying, there are hundreds of references in the end notes, allowing you to check for yourself.) The quotes are more than long enough to avert any legal charge of “taking out of context” (etc.). And frankly, the things Horner points out to have been reportedly said & the positions strongly advocated are absolutely breathtaking! I previously thought I hardly knew how terrible things were, but I have really had my fully understanding changed. I am about 2/3 of the way through, and I find myself trying to arrange my schedule so as to spend more time with this book. I warmly recommend “Hot Lies.” These blackguards are trying to take over the world (I’m not deliberately exaggerating), and strip the average individual of having any say in the matter. Don’t believe me? Get hold of a copy of “Red Hot Lies,” and see for yourself! Tired of eventually losing the office debates? Get hold of a copy of “Red Hot Lies,” and arm yourself. Think mankind is destroying the planet by weather, and need to know what the “other side” is really saying? Get hold of a copy of “Red Hot Lies,” and see if you can maintain your blinkered state–I dare you!
