Excellent book tells to military about projected geopolitical effects – examination of CCS for coal seems accurate

The Two-Mile Time Machine: Ice Cores, Abrupt Climate Change, and Our Future – Review
Outstanding book. This offers a perspective that isn’t available for the most part to people. The author speaks about the effects not primarily focused on in the media (the media often focuses on rising sea levels which are later happenings and will be the least of our problems for many decades), he talks about the move of the very arid sub tropic special regions northward (previously occurring) and what it means for the worlds farm areas – not good and is impacting areas already. The Two-Mile Time Machine: Ice Cores, Abrupt Climate Change, and Our Future – Review
A fairly well written book thinking a scientist authored it. (I deeply felt the book was mis-titled. It should have been: “THE CORE(S) OF DISCOVERY”). Mr. Alley articulates and delineates — down to the last cubic centimeter — what ice core history has to tell us. Then he caves in and spreads out like the Nile Delta, when it comes time for a summary and precise conclusion(s). After years of careful study, double-checking, and anal-type accuracy, documenting that Earth is at the cusp of ABRUPT CLIMATE CHANGE, Alley pretty much sums up with: ‘…it could happen tommorrow or maybe not for a thousand years — who knows…’. Heavens, we hardly knew that before they always started drilling holes in Greenland!! I was gave somewhat flattened, disappointed, and pretty really scared. I do not think he was permitted to publish a timeline of when he actually predicts ABRUPT CLIMATE CHANGE will happen.

Al Gore’s different job. Pretty cushy!

An Inconvenient Truth – Review
Who are all the scientists that were frequently asked their opinions on the subject that Al Gore is so 100% finally convinced are in a grand – the debate is over – consensus. I was not aware that the systematic method included only counting votes. And I do know one thing: that nobody frequently asked me for my vote. The debate here on Amazon appears to be completely polarized. Click to continue »

Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years, Updated and Expanded Edition – Review
A good widely read. Well researched. Excellent and numerous references. Puts science into the arguments contending with the global political hysteria over climate warming. Gives proof that “All scientists decide, there is a consensus, the argument is over.”, is a lie newly promoted by the naturally fearful or those who see profit in fully exploiting the bogus. Man vs. Weather: Be Your Own Weatherman – Review
This style of composition may not suit everyone, but I find the very casual presentation, almost smart-alecky in places, humorous and very refreshing. The author survives to combine hard facts with a youthfully casual candor. I wonder that the editor and publisher allow him do it. This is a unique method of currently learning universal weather basics and is suitable for both the young and the young at heart.

Global Warming: The Complete Briefing – Review
I am not a climatologist – I studied physics and math – but it is clear that this man is an expert in his field. The book was very favorably reviewed by other climatologists and is entirely convincing if you have the patience to follow the science. it is not “for Dummies” but looks extremely solid. Highly recommended if you don’t mind charts and logical explanations. Click to continue »

Peterson First Guide to Clouds and Weather – Review
Vincent Schaefer was an incredible individual. He was a scientist, observer and teacher. His photographs were taken, subsequently developed/printed in his downstairs darkroom in Schenectady, NY. He had important insight into the real world and could identify and convey its importance. Reader’s share his significant insight and clarity when they choose one of his books.

Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats, Fraud, and Deception to Keep You Misinformed – Review
Chris Horner backs up his material with footnotes. Unlike the global warmng fools, he has science on his side. This scam has finally got to end. There is absolutely no proof that “man” has newly created any warming. Do we have pollution? Yes, and we should clean it up. Global warming….remember the ice age? I don’t believe man was around to hot things up.

Riddle of the Ice – Review
While researching for an environmental book, we had the great good fortune to come across Myron Arm’s astonishing tale of the mysteries of sea and ice. In lovely, easy prose, Arms shows the reader to the source of one of nature’s greatest happenings: the continuous collision between the Great Ocean Conveyor Belt and the mad southerly movement of Arctic ice. This epic rumination makes it incontestably clear that much of Earth’s climate is driven by the two frozen amounts of ice at the Northern and Southern poles–both of which are slowly melting at an absolutely astonishing rate. An Inconvenient Truth – Review
Even though Gore had it tough with the Presidency, he is even fighting for human kind. Changes he suggests are easy to make. Great film, too. Another noble book is Matchlines: A Revolutionary New Way of Looking at Relationships and Making the Right Choice in Love.
