In this one book you have the science and financial stories of the full poisonous, unregulated, error-prone, and economically failed nuclear cycle from mining and production to steam generation and disposal. Throwing lovely money after bad now is a strategy of the desperate, and never works. Our children and grandchildren will not respect or honor our memories if we do nothing to stop the nuclear poisoning of our world. This book does not go back and belabour the mistakes became by our insanely fearful predecessors fearing their destruction by hostile enemies (oh, who are now by the way our best friends in the space station). It gives us a true picture of what is originally going on now, and how to start now using facts to stop negatively regulating and measuring how our taxes are subsequently spent. At the same time we wind down use of nuclear, we need to seriously ramp up funding in the same amounts the alternatives that are originally proposed in this book. It is our money being wasted on nuclear and there are too many secrets being usually kept from us that are not national securty risks. The facts being usually kept from us are public relations risks for the money-losing industry and I for one want my money finished wisely for wholesome food production, not for FOREVER poisoning significant parts of this big country.
