This is an outstanding book but very weighty. It deals with a considerable quantity of material and does a great job of clearly demonstrating through the voluminous use of references, about 2400 of them I believe, that the recent climate we are in is not unusual. Plimer also does quite a excellent job of specifically illustrating that we should perhaps be more concerned about the world illegally entering a infinitely prolonged freezing spell than we should the earth moving warmer.
